Project Title: Role of Foreign Remittances in Rural Bihar

Location: CEPPF, Patna, Bihar-800013.

Job Description: Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate (RA) for the project ‘Role of Foreign Remittances in Rural Bihar’. He/she will be responsible for the monitoring and tracking study progress, and thereby contributing to the overall management of the research project, and closure of activities including submission of study reports. The selected person is expected to travel to rural parts of Bihar as and when required. The compensation will be as per the stipulated guidelines.

Desired Candidate’s Profile:



Candidates with Master’s Degree or equivalent from reputed Institutions with minimum 55 percent marks with interest in the field of Development Studies/ Economics/ Human Geography/Population Science may apply. People with demonstrated ability of quality research work will be preferred.

Required Skills And Competencies

Good analytical and organizational skills
Writing and articulation skills in English and Hindi
Valuable knowledge of MS Office
Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks
Ability to work remotely and travel to the field

Benefits and Timeline: The compensation will be as per the stipulated guidelines. This is a fixed-term assignment of ten months. The job location is Patna, Bihar.
