The Specialty Materials segment manufactures products that provide more than 150
material formulations for glass, glass ceramics and fluoride crystals to meet
demand for unique customer needs. Consequently, this segment operates in a wide
variety of commercial and industrial markets that include display optics and
components,
semiconductor optics components, aerospace and defense, astronomy,
ophthalmic products, telecommunications components and cover glass that is
optimized for portable display devices.
Position Summary:
The Learning and Development (L&D;) Manager will lead the Learning and
Development function for India, partnering closely with HR Managers and business
leaders across Manufacturing, Technology, Shared Services, Digital & IT, and
Commercial domains. This role is responsible for integrating Corning’s global
leadership development programs, online learning resources, and designing
India-specific programs to meet the unique needs of the local workforce.
The incumbent will play a significant role in improving productivity, succession
readiness, and building organizational capability to ensure future business
success.
