Role Description The HVAC Design Engineer will be responsible for designing HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. Day-to-day tasks include performing heat load calculations, selecting equipment, preparing design drawings and specifications, and coordinating with plumbing and other mechanical services.

The role involves working closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to review designs, resolve technical issues, and support project execution. The engineer will also assist in cost estimation, review vendor proposals, and contribute to system optimization for energy efficiency and reliability. This is a full-time, in office role based in Kochi

Experience: atleast 7 years

CTC: max 15 LPA.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in HVAC Design and HVAC system selection, including knowledge of relevant standards and best practices.
- Working knowledge of Plumbing design and coordination with mechanical services for building projects.




- Ability to perform detailed engineering Calculations such as heat load, air flow, and duct sizing.
- Background in Mechanical Engineering, with understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and building services engineering.
- Experience with design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and MS Office for documentation and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience in HVAC design for commercial, industrial, or large residential projects is preferred.
- Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional project teams.
- Capability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents, and to support site teams during execution.
