VACANCY FOR MANAGER – HR & ADMIN

Company Description

Revata Engineering Private Limited is a Pune based manufacturer of precision rubber molded components, rubber-to-metal bonded parts, and engineered sealing products for the Oil & Gas and industrial sectors. The company is certified to API Spec Q1 and ISO 9001:2015 and operates a NABL accredited (ISO/IEC 17025) in-house testing laboratory at its plant at MIDC Bhosari, Pune. Role Description

Revata is looking for a hands-on HR professional to independently own the complete HR & Admin function of the company. The Manager – HR & Admin will report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment of worker, staff, and managerial positions, statutory compliance, time office and payroll inputs, training records under the company’s quality management system, employee lifecycle management, and day-to-day administration for a team of 55–60 employees. This is a single-handed role – the candidate must be comfortable running the entire function independently and building HR systems and documentation where they do not exist today.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end recruitment for worker, staff, and managerial positions – preparing job descriptions, sourcing through job portals, consultants, and references, screening, coordinating interviews, salary negotiation, and issuing offer and appointment letters.
- Complete joining formalities, induction, and onboarding documentation for all new employees.
- Manage the time office – attendance, shift schedules, leave records, muster roll, and overtime – and prepare monthly payroll inputs for salary processing.
- Ensure statutory compliance under PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, MLWF, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, and the Factories Act – registers, returns, challans, notice boards, and liaison with consultants and government authorities.
- Handle contract labour (CLRA) compliance – contractor documentation, verification of contractor bills,

and related registers.
- Maintain training records, skill / competence matrix, induction records, and training effectiveness evaluations as required under API Q1 / ISO 9001:2015, and face the HR portion of certification and customer audits.
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle – confirmations, transfers, increments, promotions, disciplinary actions, resignations, exits, and full and final settlements.
- Draft and implement HR policies, leave rules, and service rules, and maintain personnel files and HR documentation for all employees.
- Handle employee grievances, counseling, warning letters, and domestic enquiry proceedings where required, and maintain discipline on the shop floor.
- Coordinate the annual appraisal cycle and increment process with department heads and the Managing Director.
- Oversee general administration – security, housekeeping, canteen / tea arrangements, transport, courier, AMCs, and arrangements for customer and auditor visits.
- Organize employee engagement and welfare activities – festival celebrations, safety day, and annual functions.
- Prepare monthly HR MIS for the Managing Director – manpower status, absenteeism, attrition, overtime, and recruitment pipeline.

Who Should

Apply

This role will suit an HR generalist who has worked in a manufacturing company and has personally handled recruitment, statutory compliance, and worker-level HR in a factory setting – not only corporate office HR. The candidate should be comfortable being the single point of contact for everything related to HR & Admin,

dealing with everyone from machine operators to senior managers, and setting up systems and documentation from scratch. Fluency in Marathi and Hindi, along with working English, is necessary for daily communication with the workforce.

Fit note: Candidates whose experience is mainly in IT / ITES, BPO, banking, retail, or recruitment consultancies, or who have worked only in large corporate HR teams handling a single specialization, will not fit this role. This is a hands-on factory HR role.

Must Have

Qualifications

- Graduate with MBA / MPM / MSW or equivalent qualification in HR / Personnel Management.
- 8–12 years of HR experience, of which at least 5 years in a manufacturing company (factory setting).
- Hands-on working knowledge of PF, ESIC, Skilled Tax, MLWF, and Factories Act compliance, including registers, returns, and liaison with authorities directly or through consultants.
- Proven experience of independently recruiting technical and managerial positions in a manufacturing set-up.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word, and fluency in Marathi, Hindi, and English. Optional / Preferred Qualifications
- Experience of working in an ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / API Q1 certified company, with exposure to training records, competence matrix, and audit documentation, will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to contract labour (CLRA) compliance and handling of domestic enquiries.
- Working knowledge of any HRMS / payroll software (GreytHR, Keka, Saral PayPack, or similar).
- Experience of setting up the HR function in a growing company.

Location: W-20, S Block, MIDC Bhosari, Pune – 411026.

Office Timings: Monday to Saturday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Remuneration: No bar for the right candidate. Interested candidates may send their updated resume to [email protected] with the subject line “Application – Manager, HR & Admin”. PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE COMPANY MAINLINE AS NO RECRUITMENT-RELATED CALLS WILL BE ENTERTAINED.
