Job Summary The HR Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, payroll administration, recruitment, employee lifecycle management, statutory compliance, employee engagement, and HR generalist activities for the manufacturing unit. The role requires ensuring efficient HR processes, maintaining compliance with labor laws, and supporting business objectives through effective people management.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations

- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and separation.

- Maintain employee records and HR documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.

- Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and process improvements.

- Prepare HR dashboards, MIS reports, and management reports.

- Ensure timely issuance of employment-related letters and documentation.

Recruitment Talent Acquisition

- Manage manpower planning in coordination with department heads.

- Handle end-to-end recruitment for staff and managerial positions.

- Source candidates through job portals, consultants, referrals, and social media.

- Coordinate interviews, salary negotiations, and offer management.

- Ensure smooth onboarding and induction of recent employees.

Payroll Compensation

- Process monthly payroll accurately and within timelines.

- Verify attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, reimbursements, and statutory deductions.

- Coordinate with finance for salary processing and payroll reconciliation.

- Handle full and final settlements.

- Manage employee queries related to payroll and compensation.

HR Generalist

- Support performance management and annual appraisal processes.

- Coordinate employee engagement and welfare initiatives.

- Address employee grievances and support conflict resolution.





- Assist in learning and development initiatives.

- Promote a positive work culture and employee relations.

Statutory Compliance

- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.

- Manage statutory requirements related to PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Bonus, Gratuity, Shops Establishment Act/Factories Act, and other applicable regulations.

- Coordinate statutory audits and maintain compliance documentation.

- Liaise with government authorities and external consultants when required.

Employee Relations

- Maintain healthy industrial and employee relations.

- Support disciplinary processes and domestic inquiries where applicable.

- Coordinate with plant management to resolve workforce issues.

- Monitor attendance, absenteeism, and employee discipline.

Required Qualifications

- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

- Additional certifications in Payroll, Labour Laws, or HR Analytics are an advantage.

Experience

- 57 years of HR experience, with significant exposure to manufacturing environments.

- Proven experience in HR operations, payroll, recruitment, and HR generalist functions.

- Experience managing a team and interacting with senior stakeholders.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of HR Operations performance management.

- Excellent understanding of Indian labor laws and HR best practices.

- Hands-on experience with HRMS and payroll software.

- Strong recruitment and talent acquisition skills.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

- Analytical mindset with strong reporting and MIS capabilities.

- High level of integrity and confidentiality.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
