Role Description The Human Resources Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. This role involves managing day-to-day HR operations, including employee onboarding, attendance and leave management, and maintaining HR records.
The Human Resources
Executive will support employee relations by addressing queries, coordinating performance reviews, and helping foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Responsibilities also include implementing and updating HR policies, ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws, and coordinating recruitment activities such as screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and supporting new hire integration.
The role works closely with salon leadership to identify staffing needs, support training initiatives, and contribute to long-term talent development.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills, including experience overseeing HR processes in a service-oriented workplace.
- Candidates should possess solid HR Operations skills, with the ability to manage documentation, payroll inputs, attendance, and HR information systems.
- Candidates should possess effective Employee Relations skills, including conflict resolution, employee engagement, and support for performance and feedback discussions.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of HR Policies and compliance, including basic understanding of labor laws, workplace ethics, and regulatory requirements.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; prior experience in HR roles, preferably in retail, hospitality, or salon/beauty industry, is an advantage.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to maintain confidentiality, and proficiency with common office and HR software tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, support management with HR reporting, and contribute to a respectful, inclusive workplace culture.
