Build and maintain scalable, secure backend APIs using Django for web and mobile applications in the education and social sectors.
Requirements
What we're looking for in the ideal candidate
3+ years of experience with Django and Django REST Framework
Strong knowledge of Python programming and REST API development
Experience with PostgreSQL and relational database design
Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployment workflows
Understanding of authentication systems (JWT, OAuth) and role-based access control
Experience working in cross-functional teams integrating with React/Next.js or Flutter frontends
Basic knowledge of Git, CI/CD workflows, and cloud platforms (DigitalOcean, AWS)
Experience in education, healthcare, or social-sector technology is a plus
Responsibilities
