We are looking for a Mainframe Support Engineer with solid experience in COBOL, DB2,
and IMS to support and maintain critical mainframe applications. The candidate will work in a DevOps model (Development + Production Support) and participate in mainframe modernization initiatives.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Provide L2/L3 production support for mainframe applications
Analyze and resolve application abends, DB2 issues, CICS/IMS failures
Develop and enhance programs using COBOL, JCL, DB2
Perform batch job monitoring, restart/recovery, and performance tuning
Work on online transactions using CICS and IMS DC
Perform impact analysis and support minor/major enhancements
Coordinate with upstream/downstream teams during incidents
Participate in release activities, code reviews, and deployments
