About The Role The Senior Manager, HR Operations at Empower is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the delivery of scalable, efficient, and consistent HR operational services across our global regions. This role acts as a key partner to HR and business leaders, ensuring that HR processes, systems, and data are aligned with enterprise standards while accommodating regional requirements.

The Senior

Manager will drive initiatives to enhance the employee experience through process improvements, automation, and compliance management. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of the hire-to-retire lifecycle in the U.S. and the management of HR operations teams across multiple international locations, including India and the Philippines. The role is critical in maintaining operational excellence, fostering team development, and supporting organizational growth through innovative HR solutions.

Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 12 years of progressive HR experience, particularly in HR operations, is essential. Proven experience managing end-to-end U.S. hire-to-retire HR processes is mandatory,



as is experience leading global HR operations teams, including offshore or shared services models.

Candidates should have a solid background working within large, enterprise environments and possess expertise in HR processes such as onboarding, employee data management, payroll coordination, and offboarding. Hands-on experience with Workday is required, with familiarity in ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems being advantageous. The ideal candidate demonstrates process optimization skills, advanced analytical and reporting capabilities, and excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

A demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and discretion in managing sensitive information is also necessary.

Responsibilities Lead and oversee HR operations service delivery practices, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and consistency across multiple countries including the US, India, and the Philippines.

Review, streamline, and document HR processes, ensuring they align with enterprise standards and regional compliance requirements.

Identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI-enabled solutions to improve HR operations, data accuracy, and employee experience while maintaining governance and compliance standards.

Ensure regional HR processes, data fields, and workflows are synchronized with corporate systems, including updates, releases, and enhancements.

Manage and develop the HR Operations team through performance management, coaching, and workforce planning initiatives.





Partner with HR and business leaders to support and guide changes throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and terminations.

Oversee background verification, onboarding, and offboarding processes to ensure timely execution, compliance, and positive employee experiences.

Maintain employment-related documentation and personnel records, continuously seeking opportunities for process efficiencies and automation.

Collaborate with HR and reporting teams to define reporting requirements, improve data accuracy, and implement system enhancements.

Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of HR operations and organizational objectives.
