Key Responsibilities
- Partner with sales managers on people matters including performance management, employee engagement, and team effectiveness.
- Support the end-to-end employee lifecycle for the sales team onboarding, confirmations, role changes, exits, and everything in between.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives tailored to a fast-paced, target-driven sales setting.
- Manage the performance review cycle for the sales function, including goal-setting support, calibration coordination, and manager coaching on feedback conversations.
- Handle employee relations matters — grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution — with guidance from senior HR leadership.
- Support workforce planning, headcount tracking, and hiring coordination in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team.
- Analyse basic HR metrics (attrition, engagement scores, absenteeism) and present insights to sales leadership.
- Coordinate learning and development needs for the sales team, working with L&D; and Sales Enablement.
- Assist in rolling out org-wide HR programs (DEI, wellness, rewards & recognition) within the sales function.
- Contribute to policy interpretation and ensure consistent application across the sales org.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–8 years of HR experience, with at least 1–2 years in a business partnering or generalist capacity.
- Prior exposure to supporting sales, commercial, or revenue teams is strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of sales team dynamics — variable pay, incentive structures, high-turnover environments, and quota pressure.
- Solid knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with managers and employees.
- Comfortable working with data and HR systems to pull reports and identify trends.
- Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
Nice to Have
- Experience with HRIS platforms (Workday).
- Exposure to change management or org restructuring projects.
