Job Title: Houseman

Department: Housekeeping

Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Housekeeping Manager

Job Summary The Houseman is responsible for supporting the housekeeping team by maintaining cleanliness in public areas, replenishing housekeeping supplies, assisting room attendants, and ensuring all guest and operational areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and maintain all public areas, corridors, lobbies, washrooms, staircases, and back-of-house areas.
- Assist Room Attendants in making up guest rooms when required.
- Deliver linen, towels, guest supplies, and housekeeping materials to designated areas.
- Collect and transport used linen and waste to the laundry or disposal area.
- Replenish housekeeping pantries with linen and guest amenities.
- Move furniture and equipment as required for cleaning or events.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately.
- Ensure housekeeping equipment is clean and stored properly after use.
- Assist in deep cleaning schedules and special cleaning projects.
- Follow all hygiene, safety,



and company standards.
- Provide prompt assistance to guests whenever required in a courteous manner.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements
- Minimum qualification: 10th Pass or equivalent.
- 0–2 years of experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred.
- Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and move housekeeping supplies.
- Basic communication skills.
- Positive attitude, discipline, and willingness to work in shifts.

Working Conditions
- Rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per operational requirements.
