Role Description This is a full time, on-site Housekeeping Manager role based at the Club Mahindra resort in Dwarka.
The Housekeeping
Manager oversees daily housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, public area upkeep, laundry services, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
Responsibilities include planning staff schedules, assigning duties, monitoring quality of work, and ensuring timely completion of tasks to maintain resort presentation. The role involves managing inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment, coordinating with front office and maintenance teams,
and responding promptly to guest requests and feedback.
The Housekeeping
Manager also leads, trains, and motivates the housekeeping team to deliver consistent, courteous service and supports continuous improvement in processes and standards.
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory and team leadership skills, including experience managing housekeeping staff and overseeing daily operations.
- Hands-on knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures, including room turnaround, linen care, and cleanliness standards.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with guests and collaborate with resort teams.
- Experience in hiring, onboarding, and training housekeeping personnel, with a focus on performance and service quality.
- Prior experience in hotel or resort housekeeping management, preferably in the hospitality sector.
- Understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulations, and ability to implement best practices consistently.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and quality control.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for reporting, inventory tracking, and scheduling.
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
