Role Description The Housekeeper role is a full time, on-site position based in Ramnagar. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, orderly, and comfortable guest rooms, common areas, and service spaces throughout the retreat. Daily tasks include sweeping, mopping, dusting, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, replenishing supplies, and handling laundry for linens and towels.

The role involves responding to guest requests in a courteous manner, reporting maintenance issues, and following hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards.



The Housekeeper works closely with the retreat team to support a welcoming environment and may assist with basic training of new housekeeping staff when needed. Qualifications

Strong housekeeping and laundry skills, including cleaning, garment care, and handling bed linens and towels.

Effective communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.

Good organization skills to manage daily tasks, prioritize work, and maintain orderly storage areas.

Ability to learn and follow cleaning procedures, with openness to training and continuous improvement.

Attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Physical ability to perform housekeeping duties, including standing, bending, lifting, and carrying supplies.

Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred but not required.
