About the Know Your Customer Team
The Enterprise Operations team operates as a global center of excellence and serves as the first line of defense for the business by identifying and mitigating risks related to sanctions, anti‑money laundering, politically exposed persons, and broader financial crime associated with current clients and renewals.



The team conducts client verification activities to minimize reputational risk and prevent potential financial losses arising from engagement with fraudulent or high‑risk entities.
Client verification is completed prior to placement through Know Your Customer reviews that support client approval decisions. The team validates the legal and operational status of clients, reviews supporting documentation provided by business units, and provides administrative support across Willis Towers Watson systems. Ongoing monitoring and screening activities are performed post‑placement to ensure business units receive timely updates on client risk profiles, enabling informed and compliant decision‑making.
