Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Insurance Sales Agent to generate new business opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to convert leads into successful policy sales.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Business Development
Identify and generate new leads through networking, referrals, field visits, and other prospecting activities.
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers.
Approach individuals, families, and businesses to promote insurance products.
Explore new market opportunities to expand the customer base.
Sales & Conversion
Meet prospective clients to understand their insurance needs.
Present and explain suitable insurance plans and policy advantages.
Prepare quotations and assist customers in selecting the right insurance coverage.
Follow up on leads and convert prospects into policyholders.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
Provide excellent pre-sales and post-sales support.
Assist customers with policy renewals, endorsements, and claim-related guidance.
Address customer queries and concerns promptly.
Market Awareness & Reporting
Stay updated on insurance products, industry trends, and competitor activities.
Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, and sales activities.
Submit regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
0–3 years of experience in Insurance Sales, Financial Services Sales, Banking Sales, or Direct Sales.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
