Job Description – Biology / ESS / EVM Teacher (Grades 9–12)
Position: Biology / Environmental Systems & Societies (ESS) / Environmental Management (EVM) Teacher
Location: Powai, Mumbai, Maharashtra
Curriculum: IBDP and Cambridge A-Levels
Grades: 9–12
Salary: Up to ₹85,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)
Key Responsibilities
Teach Biology, ESS, and/or Environmental Management to students in Grades 9–12 following the Cambridge curriculum.
Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that promote critical thinking and conceptual understanding.
Develop lesson plans, assessments, worksheets, and learning resources aligned with Cambridge standards.
Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide timely feedback.
Prepare students for Cambridge examinations and practical assessments.
Maintain accurate academic records and prepare student progress reports.
Foster an inclusive, positive, and interactive classroom environment.
Participate in faculty meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events.




Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and continuous curriculum improvement.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Environmental Science, or a related field.
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
Prior experience teaching Grades 9–12 under the Cambridge curriculum (IGCSE/AS & A Level) is highly desirable.
Strong subject knowledge in Biology and Environmental Sciences.
Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching and learning.
