Challenge

Lead and execute mechanical design and development activities for automotive components and systems with customers & our factory
Apply mechanical engineering fundamentals, including DFM (Design for Manufacturing), DFA (Design for Assembly), tolerance analysis, GD&T;, and design-to-cost principles to ensure robust, manufacturable, and cost-effective designs.
Utilize 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo Parametric, or equivalent for part and assembly design, and generate transparent and accurate 2D drawings for manufacturing and customer documentation
Support the sales and technical sales teams in project discussions, feasibility studies, and cost estimations.
Act as first level of contact for customer complaints Pre-PPAP Issues (design issues) and Post-PPAP issues (8Ds)
Manages dates / lead times and response to customer

Qualifications





Min. 5 years experience in automotive industry
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
