The Purpose of This Role

The Skills That Are Key To This Role

Technical skills

6 - 8 Years of experience predominantly in software test/ Quality Engineering.
Mainframe Systems testing (CICS Screen, VSAM Files, JCL, DB2, SPUFI) as well as Web UI, RESTful web services validations with Automation
Deep Expertise in analyzing batch job outputs and backend data (DB2, VSAM).




Jenkins / Git Hub Actions (CI/CD Pipelines)
Robust PLSQL / SQL skills
ETL & Data Replication Validation with Automation
Well versed with QE Best Practices such as Test Suite Management, Traceability, Defect lifecycle Management etc.
Hands-on experience with Java programming and experience with Playwright, Selenium etc.
Jenkins / Git Hub Actions (CI/CD Pipelines)

Responsibilities in this Role

Translating business and systems requirements into test strategy, test scenarios and test plans.
Designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining optimized automated test scripts.
Rotational QE - On-call Support in Prod and Preprod infrastructure.
Adhering to Engineering Practices in development of automation framework.
Understand and apply BDD design concepts to evaluate software solutions.
Delivering accurate and maintainable code for automation and software utilities.
