Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Electrical Integration Engineer to lead the design, integration,

and validation of high-voltage electrical systems across Exponent's EV energy products.

This role sits at the intersection of electrical design, power electronics, firmware

integration, and electro-mechanical systems, with ownership from concept to production.





The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end electrical architecture, ensure safety and

compliance of HV systems, and debug complex hardware-software interactions in

fast-evolving EV platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Design & Safety

Design and coordinate multi-stage electrical protection schemes for HV and LV

systems

Size and select protection devices, switchgears, and cables
Own insulation coordination, including creepage and clearance definitions
Design earthing and grounding architectures for HV systems
Ensure compliance with IS, IEC, ISO, SAE, CSA, NFPA, CEA, NEC, NBC standards
Own HVDC safety concepts and validation

Electrical & System Integration

Integrate power electronics hardware including converters, inverters, sensors, and

actuators

Review and debug schematics, PCBA designs, and component ratings
Lead hardware-firmware integration, including protocol-level debugging
Support EMI/EMC testing, ha
