Required Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent hands-on performance engineering experience.
- hands-on performance testing / engineering experience in a large, complex enterprise workplace, including a track record of leading testing efforts for high-visibility, business-critical applications.
- Demonstrated technical leadership mentoring engineers, setting standards, and owning performance certification decisions independently.
- Advanced, demonstrable proficiency with the core toolchain:
- LoadRunner Enterprise (LRE) VuGen scripting, scenario design, and controller/execution setup.
- BlazeMeter JMeter authoring and cloud/distributed test execution.
- Dynatrace (APM) instrumentation, dashboards, metric analysis, and bottleneck isolation.




- GitLab Duo embedding performance tests into CI/CD pipeline delivery with AI- assisted authoring.
- Strong understanding of load, stress, and endurance testing methodologies and workload modeling.
- Proficiency interpreting performance metrics (response time percentiles, throughput/TPS, CPU, memory, thread and connection-pool behavior).
- Experience testing distributed architectures: web/app servers, APIs (REST/SOAP), messaging (IBM MQ), and databases.
- Clear written and verbal communication for producing executive-ready reports and collaborating with technical delivery teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a regulated financial services or banking environment with formal SDLC / governance controls.
- Familiarity with Splunk for log analysis and signal processing during performance testing.
- Working knowledge of service virtualization (e.g., Broadcom DevTest) to remove environment dependencies.
- Scripting/automation skills (Python, shell) and experience with ServiceNow-based governance and evidence workflows.
- Exposure to Agentic SDLC / AI-assisted testing and self-service, federated operating models.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Micro Focus/OpenText LoadRunner, Dynatrace Associate/Professional)
