Job Description
CDM Smith seeks qualified Transportation Planner/Modeler Grade 2,
to join the Traffic and Transportation Planning team in Bangalore, India Global Resource Center (GRC) office. Under light supervision, the candidate prepares basic studies for transportation projects in Middle East and USA. The candidate gathers, compiles and analyzes transportation related data. Performs traffic studies and traffic impact studies utilizing principles of traffic engineering and transportation planning. Develops basic to complex traffic models and simulations. Duties and Responsibilities: The Engineer must perform tasks related to transportation planning and engineering which include but not limited to the following: Data Analysis & Operational Analysis
Compile and analyze data – demographic, land use, traffic counts, travel speeds as required to reflect existing and future conditions
Conduct capacity analysis for intersections and roadways using widely used software
Write basic
