Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to design and build the next generation of electromagnetic (EM) simulation and RF/microwave design automation tools. You will work on the software that powers full-wave EM solvers, layout-driven extraction f lows, and the automation pipelines that turn foundry technology data (ITF/LTD, layermaps,



tech files) and physical layout (GDS) into accurate S-parameter models.

This role sits at the intersection of computational electromagnetics, numerical methods, and large-scale software engineering. You will collaborate with EM research scientists, application engineers, and product managers to deliver robust, high-performance features used by RF, mmWave, IC design teams worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain core components of an EDA electromagnetic (EM) simulation platform (field solvers, meshing, matrix assembly/solve, post-processing, and result extraction).
Implement and optimize computational electromagnetics algorithms — e.g., Method of Moments (MoM), Finite Element Method (FEM), and time-domain (FDTD) techniques.
Build automation and data-processing pipelines: technology file conversion (ITF → LTD), layout/GDS import, port/pin placement, simulation setup, and
