Job Purpose
Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) presents an opportunity for a full time Manager to lead and grow the AI Center of Excellence (AICOE) team based in India. This leadership role is central to ICE’s long-term strategy to embed Generative AI technologies across the enterprise in a responsible, scalable, and sustainable way.
The incumbent will be accountable for establishing a high-performing AICOE support structure in India, working closely with global AICOE leadership to drive key initiatives forward. This is primarily a people-leadership and delivery-enablement role, the ideal candidate will build and mentor a capable team of AI/ML practitioners, orchestrate cross-functional collaboration, and ensure that AICOE programs are executed with rigor and impact.
While deep hands-on engineering is not the primary expectation, the candidate is expected to bring Applied AI Expertise — a working, practical fluency with the modern AI tooling landscape. This includes hands-on experience with agentic AI platforms and productivity tools such as Claude Desktop, Claude CLI,



Claude Code, Cursor, Microsoft Copilot, and Google Gemini, as well as a solid command of prompting techniques and prompt engineering practices. The candidate must be capable of evaluating, adopting, and championing such tools within the team and broader enterprise.
This position requires strong leadership presence, business acumen, and exemplary communication skills. The candidate will frequently engage with senior stakeholders, technology leaders, and business partners across ICE’s global operations to align priorities, secure resources, and communicate progress.
