– Design and develop imaging systems for medical imaging devices, including lenses, mirrors, filters, and other optical components to meet imaging requirements.
– Design light source subsystems involving a combination of LEDs, Lasers, electronics and software components to meet stated illumination requirements.
– Utilize software tools (e.g., Zemax, Code V) to model and simulate optical systems to study optical system design effects such as aberrations, scattering, accurate system performance predictions.
– Develop and implement testing protocols to characterize optical component and system prototypes, including evaluating image quality, resolution, and aberrations.
Key Skills Required.
– BE/MS/MTech degree in Physics, Optical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related subject
– 2+ years working experience in development of optical & imaging subsystems using tools like Zemax, Code V.
– Working Experience with Optical Image Test Tools like IMATEST.
