Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial records and ensure the smooth financial operation of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting principles, and financial reporting, and a passion for our organization’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and collections.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
Prepare and process payroll for employees.
Assist in financial audits and tax filings.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Work closely with the finance team to develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
Provide financial data and reports to support decision-making.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in the non-profit sector.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
