We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Ledger (GL) Accountant to join our finance team. As a GL Accountant, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and supporting the financial reporting process.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and Record Journal Entries : Compile and analyze asset, liability, revenue, and expense transactions,



ensuring accurate posting in the general ledger.
Account Reconciliation : Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions while resolving discrepancies to maintain balanced accounts.
General Ledger Maintenance : Transfer subsidiary accounts, prepare trial balances, and reconcile general ledger entries to ensure accurate financial data.
Financial Reporting : Summarize financial status by collecting data and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
Internal Audit Support : Assist in internal audits by analyzing accounts, providing necessary documentation, and coordinating with external auditors.
Compliance and Legal Reporting : Ensure adherence to legal requirements, including preparing and filing financial reports.
Month-End and Year-End Close : Support the month-end and year-end close processes by ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
