Job Summary
The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing placement activities for trainees enrolled under the Skill Development Project. The role focuses on achieving placement targets through robust industry engagement, employer partnerships, apprenticeship opportunities, and effective candidate support. The incumbent will establish linkages with industries across STEM, Non-STEM, and ITI sectors to create sustainable employment opportunities for trainees while ensuring compliance with project guidelines and stakeholder requirements.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Employer Engagement & Placement Facilitation
Identify, approach, and onboard employers across various sectors for recruitment and workforce requirements.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with HR professionals, recruiters, and hiring managers.
Conduct regular employer visits to understand current and future manpower needs.
Organize placement drives,



campus recruitment programs, job fairs, and employer interaction sessions.
Coordinate interview schedules and facilitate the selection process between employers and trainees.
Ensure timely mobilization of candidates for interviews and joining formalities.
Maintain a comprehensive database of employers, vacancies, and recruitment outcomes.

2. Industry Linkages & Partnerships
STEM Sector Engagement
Build partnerships with industries in Information Technology (IT), Engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy, Automation, Telecom, Manufacturing, Healthcare Technology, and Emerging Technologies.
Facilitate industry interactions, technical workshops, guest lectures, and exposure visits.

Non-STEM Sector Engagement
Develop linkages with employers in Retail, Hospitality, Tourism, Logistics, BFSI, E-commerce, Customer Service, Healthcare Support, Education, Sales & Marketing, and Service Industries.
