Position: Healthcare Innovation & Technology Manager

Location: Parul University, Vadodara Gujarat

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic professional to bridge the gap between healthcare and technology. The selected candidate will engage with doctors and healthcare professionals to identify unmet clinical needs, translate them into innovation opportunities, and coordinate with engineering, research, and product development teams to develop technology-driven healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage with doctors, surgeons, clinicians, and healthcare professionals to understand clinical workflows and unmet needs.
- Identify, document, and validate healthcare problems suitable for technology-based solutions.
- Translate clinical requirements into clear engineering and product development problem statements.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including biomedical, mechanical, electronics, AI, software, and design experts.
- Support ideation, prototype development, testing, and validation of MedTech and digital health solutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with hospitals, healthcare institutions, startups, and industry partners.
- Prepare reports, innovation briefs, and project documentation.
- Support commercialization and startup development activities arising from identified innovations.





Minimum Qualifications Candidates must meet either of the following educational qualifications:

- MBBS with an MBA in Healthcare Management, Healthcare Innovation, Hospital Administration, or related discipline.
- B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering from a recognized institution with relevant industry experience in Healthcare Technology, Medical Devices, or Healthcare Innovation.

Experience

- Minimum 1 year of relevant skilled experience in healthcare, hospitals, medical technology (MedTech), biomedical engineering, clinical research, healthcare innovation, or product development.
- Experience in interacting with clinicians and multidisciplinary teams will be an added advantage.

Preferred skills

- Experience in clinical need identification , healthcare innovation, or MedTech product development.
- Exposure to medical devices , digital health technologies, AI in healthcare, or biomedical product design.
- Experience working with hospitals, healthcare institutions, startups, research organizations, or innovation ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and patient-centric problem solving.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams comprising clinicians, engineers, designers, and researchers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with design thinking, innovation management, or translational research.
