Job Title: Head – QA/QC Industry: Real Estate / Construction / Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the overall QA/QC function across multiple real estate and construction projects.
- Develop and implement quality management systems, policies, procedures, and inspection plans.
- Establish quality standards and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and contractual requirements.
- Oversee quality control activities for civil, structural, architectural, MEP, finishing, and other construction works.
- Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, checklists, and quality procedures.
- Conduct regular quality audits, inspections, and site reviews across projects.
- Ensure compliance with applicable national and international construction standards and codes.
- Monitor quality performance of contractors, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Identify non-conformities and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review material approvals, testing reports, laboratory results, and quality documentation.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of quality records throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with Project, Engineering, Design, Procurement, and Construction teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Develop and monitor project quality KPIs and provide regular reports to senior management.




- Lead internal and external quality audits and ensure closure of audit observations.
- Support the development of quality standards and best practices across the organisation.
- Build, lead, and mentor QA/QC teams across multiple projects.

Required Experience & Skills

- 20+ years of experience in QA/QC, Quality Management, Construction, Real Estate, or Infrastructure.
- Strong experience managing QA/QC functions across large-scale residential, commercial, high-rise, or mixed-use projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, inspection procedures, testing, and quality management systems.
- Experience across Civil, Structural, Architectural, MEP, and Finishing works.
- Solid knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 and relevant construction codes and standards.
- Experience in handling contractors, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Strong expertise in quality audits, NCR management, root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
- Additional qualifications in Quality Management, QA/QC, or ISO 9001 will be an advantage.
