Role Description The Head Photographer is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore, responsible for leading all aspects of maternity, newborn, and baby photography sessions. Day-to-day tasks include planning and executing photo sessions, directing clients to ensure comfort and safety, and capturing high-quality images that reflect the studio’s storytelling style.

The role involves managing lighting, camera settings, and props, as well as overseeing image selection, basic editing, and timely delivery of final photographs.

The Head

Photographer will also coordinate session schedules, maintain studio equipment and sets, and collaborate on creative concepts, packages, and visual branding. This position requires a calm, compassionate presence with families and newborns,



while upholding professional standards of hygiene, safety, and client service.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in portrait photography, especially maternity, newborn, and baby photography, with a portfolio demonstrating consistent quality and style.
- Proficiency with professional camera systems, lenses, lighting equipment, and basic photo editing tools (e.g., Lightroom, Photoshop or similar).
- Ability to create a calm, secure, and hygienic environment for parents and newborns, with a patient and empathetic approach to working with families and babies.
- Experience in session planning, creative direction, and visual storytelling to design meaningful, themed photo shoots.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, including scheduling sessions, managing multiple projects, and meeting delivery timelines.
- Clear, respectful communication and client-handling skills, including explaining session flow, providing guidance during shoots, and responding to client feedback.
- Prior studio or professional photography experience; specialized training or certifications in newborn safety or related fields are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore on a full-time basis and adapt to weekend or holiday sessions when required.
