Role Description The Head of Pricing is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for leading the company’s pricing strategy across transportation and project logistics services. This role involves developing and maintaining pricing models, analyzing market rates, and setting competitive yet profitable tariffs for various modes and routes.

The Head of Pricing collaborates with sales, finance, and operations teams to prepare quotations, bids, and tenders, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and service capabilities. Daily activities include reviewing cost structures, monitoring margins, assessing customer profitability,



and recommending price adjustments based on demand and competition. The role also requires implementing pricing governance, preparing management reports, supporting business planning, and mentoring team members involved in pricing and revenue management.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, perform pricing analysis, and support evidence-based decisions.
- Experience in business planning and commercial strategy within transportation, logistics, or related industries.
- Solid understanding of finance concepts, including costing, margin analysis, and profitability management.
- Background in sales or commercial functions, with the ability to support negotiation and customer-facing proposals.
- Exposure to actuarial science or quantitative modeling for risk assessment and complex pricing structures is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet tools and pricing software; comfort with data visualization and reporting tools.
- Robust communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and lead a team.
- Experience in the Indian transportation or logistics sector and familiarity with Mumbai market dynamics is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy under tight timelines.
