About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Head to lead and manage maintenance operations across all project locations in India. The role is responsible for ensuring maximum equipment availability, implementing preventive maintenance programs, reducing downtime, controlling maintenance costs, and driving operational excellence across all sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead maintenance operations across all Western Region project locations.
- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance strategies.
- Ensure maximum availability and reliability of heavy equipment, vehicles, plant machinery, and utilities.
- Monitor maintenance KPIs such as equipment uptime, MTBF, MTTR, breakdown frequency, and maintenance costs.
- Standardize maintenance processes, SOPs, and best practices across all sites.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and operational efficiency.
- Manage annual maintenance budgets and optimize maintenance expenditure.
- Oversee spare parts planning, inventory control, procurement coordination, and vendor management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance teams across multiple locations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, safety standards, and company maintenance policies.
- Coordinate with Operations, Projects, Procurement, Finance, and Site Heads for seamless execution of maintenance activities.
- Review maintenance reports, analyze equipment performance trends, and implement corrective actions.




- Conduct regular site visits to monitor maintenance performance and provide technical guidance.
- Identify opportunities for automation, digitization, and implementation of maintenance management systems.

Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (MBA preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in maintenance, fleet management, workshop operations, or plant maintenance.
- Experience managing maintenance operations across multiple locations.
- Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
- Experience in heavy equipment, commercial vehicles, construction equipment, or industrial machinery maintenance.
- Solid leadership and people management skills.
- Good understanding of budgeting, cost optimization, inventory management, and vendor management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across PAN India project locations.
