WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS

As SaaS Labs continues to scale across geographies, taxation has become a
strategic function rather than a compliance exercise. With operations spanning
India and the United States, increasing regulatory complexity, and growing
cross-border transactions, we need a Taxation Lead who can ensure the business
remains compliant, efficient, and well-positioned for growth.

This role sits at the intersection of tax, finance, and business strategy -
owning end-to-end tax operations for the US, while partnering closely with
Finance, Legal, Payroll, and external advisors. Beyond managing compliance, this
person will help the company navigate expansion, optimize processes, assess tax
implications of key business decisions, and build the foundations needed to
support a global SaaS organization at scale.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO

* Own US federal and multi-state corporate income tax compliance, including
preparation/review of Forms 1120, 1065, 5471, 5472, 8858, 8865, state
income/franchise tax returns, extensions, and estimated tax payments.





* Support quarterly and annual tax provisions under ASC 740, including deferred
taxes, return-to-provision adjustments, and tax account reconciliations.

* Manage SALT and sales & use tax compliance, including economic nexus
assessments, registrations, filings, and SaaS taxability considerations
across states.

* Coordinate with external CPA firms and tax advisors, ensuring accurate data,
timely filings, and resolution of IRS/state notices and tax queries.

* Support international tax, transfer pricing, and intercompany transactions
involving US and overseas entities, including supporting calculations and
documentation.

* Improve tax processes, controls, documentation, and automation to build a
scalable US tax function.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

* 4–7 years of hands-on US corporate tax experience in public accounting,
consulting, technology, SaaS, or a multinational workplace.

* Strong experience with Form 1120 and
