Company Description Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital (SCEH), founded in 1926 by Dr. Sorabji P. Shroff, is one of North India’s largest tertiary eye care institutes and a trusted name in ophthalmology for nearly a century.

Guided by the belief that sight is a human right, the hospital ensures that at least half of all surgeries are non-paying or highly subsidized, offering equal quality care to all patients. SCEH operates a growing network across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand, with 7 Surgical Centres and over 100 Vision Centres, having served more than 14 million patients in the last decade. As part of its centenary initiative “Sambhav: SCEH 2.0,” the hospital is expanding in areas such as stem cell research, digital patient care, and global eye care training.

Services span a wide range of specialties, including cataract, cornea and eye bank, glaucoma, vitreo-retina, pediatric ophthalmology, ocular oncology, vision rehabilitation, public health, and education and training.

Role Description The Hardware Asset Management professional will be responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of hardware assets across Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital, from procurement and deployment to maintenance and decommissioning.

This full-time, on-site role based in Delhi includes maintaining accurate asset inventories, tracking asset movements, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and budgets. Day-to-day tasks involve coordinating with procurement, finance, and IT teams, asset management systems, performing regular audits, and optimizing asset utilization to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency. The role also includes supporting hardware-related incident resolution, managing vendor relationships for repairs and warranties, and contributing to process improvement initiatives and documentation.

The professional will work closely with clinical and administrative departments to ensure reliable hardware availability that supports patient care and hospital operations.

Job Purpose:

To oversee the end-to-end lifecycle management of organizational assets across the network, including procurement coordination, tracking, maintenance, verification, and disposal, while ensuring proper documentation and compliance with organizational policies and approved guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain an accurate database of all fixed and movable assets across all locations within the network.

Ensure proper asset tagging, tracking, and record management.

Monitor asset allocation, transfer, return, and disposal processes.

Conduct regular physical verification of assets and reconcile discrepancies.

Maintain proper records of asset verification across the network.

Coordinate with procurement and store teams for new asset purchases, replacements, and issuance.

Manage asset maintenance schedules, repairs, and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC).

Maintain warranty, insurance, and service records for all organizational assets.

Prepare and share monthly MIS reports with the Assets Committee regarding asset utilization,depreciation, and inventory status.

Arrange and coordinate regular meetings of the Assets Committee.

Support internal and external audits by providing required asset-related documentation. Ensurecompliance with organizational policies related to asset management.

Coordinate with secondary centres to implement guidelines, SOPs, and instructions approved by theAssets Committee.

Identify opportunities for cost optimization and improve overall asset utilization efficiency.

Take responsibility for overall asset management activities across the organization's network.

Required Skills:

Solid knowledge of asset lifecycle management

Expertise in inventory control and documentation

Proficiency in Ms Excel,asset Management software

Qualifications:

 Bachelors degree in commerce, Business Administration, supply Chain Management or related field

 MBA/PG Diploma

- Experience:9-10 year
