About the Role

Lets Unbound is looking for a passionate Hackathon Expert to mentor high school students as they build innovative projects for national and international hackathons. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, hands-on project development experience, and the ability to guide students through ideation, execution, presentation, and competition preparation.

This role is focused on helping students transform ideas into impactful solutions while strengthening their technical, problem-solving, and innovation skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Mentor high school students throughout their hackathon journey.
- Guide students in identifying real-world problems and developing innovative solutions.
- Help students with project planning, architecture, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Provide technical guidance in areas such as AI, Machine Learning, Web Development, App Development, Data Science, Robotics, or IoT.
- Conduct brainstorming, design thinking, and ideation sessions.
- Review code, troubleshoot technical challenges, and suggest best practices.
- Assist students in preparing project documentation, presentations, demos, and pitch decks.
- Train students on presentation skills and judging criteria for hackathons.
- Keep students motivated, track project milestones, and ensure timely completion.
- Collaborate with the academic team to align mentorship with student learning goals.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, hackathon trends, and innovation ecosystems.

Who Can Apply

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience mentoring students, developers, or teams in hackathons, innovation programs,



or technical projects.
- Strong experience in developing real-world software or AI-based applications.
- Experience guiding students for national or international hackathons is highly preferred.
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and inspiring young innovators.
