Job Responsibilities

- Conceptualizing visuals based on requirements

- Creating images and layouts using design software as per the creative brief

- Testing graphics across various media

- Study design briefs and determine requirements

- Schedule projects and define budget constraints

- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements

- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas

- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand

- Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic

- Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design

- Test graphics across various media

- Amend designs after feedback

- Ensure Final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

- Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience

- Take a brief to grasp production team’s needs and specifications

- Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity

- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film

- Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects

- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running





- Consult with art director from production to post-production process

- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

Requirements And Skills

- Minimum of 2 years of proven graphic designing & Video Editing experience

- Any Bachelor’s degree
- A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics

- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign)

- A keen eye for aesthetics and details

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines

- Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus

- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g.

Premiere

Pro, After Effects, Avid Media Composer, Light works & Final Cut)

- Demonstrable video editing ability with a solid portfolio

- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity

- Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing

- Creative mind and storytelling skills
