Role Description This is a full-time, in office Graphic Designer role based in the Mohali district.

The Graphic

Designer will create visual assets for digital and print news content, including social media posts, web banners, infographics, and layouts that support editorial stories. Day-to-day tasks include developing design concepts, preparing graphics that align with brand guidelines, refining typography and visual hierarchy, and collaborating with editors and reporters to translate complex information into clear visuals. The role also involves designing logos or icons for special series, preparing branding materials for campaigns,



and ensuring all designs meet deadlines and quality standards.

Designer will be part of a creative team that contributes to consistent and compelling visual communication across all Janta Voice Times platforms.

Qualifications

- Robust skills in Graphic Design and Graphics, with the ability to produce clear, engaging visuals for news and media content.
- Experience in Logo Design and Branding to support brand identity, special features, and editorial campaigns.
- Proficiency in Typography, with an eye for legibility, hierarchy, and stylistic consistency across different media formats.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or equivalent software).
- Ability to work on-site in Mohali district, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with openness to feedback and attention to detail.
- Relevant education in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in media or publishing is an advantage.
