Create defect documentation by writing bug reports anyone can follow without asking questions, including exact steps to reproduce, expected versus actual results, device, OS version, build number, account used, and attaching screenshots, screen recordings, and crash logs from Crashlytics or logcat

Perform triage and prioritisation by deciding the severity and urgency of each bug, checking for duplicate reports, linking related bugs to identify recurring issues, and explaining the reasoning behind prioritisation decisions

Conduct fix verification by retesting resolved bugs using the original reproduction steps and testing surrounding areas to ensure the fix has not introduced new issues

Manage regression testing by retesting existing features before every release to confirm new changes have not broken them and adding permanent test cases for previously escaped bugs

Maintain test coverage and documentation by writing and updating test cases and checklists based on design documents, removing obsolete tests, and identifying untested areas

Validate the core experience by testing the new player experience, level unlocks, rewards, and save data persistence across sessions, reinstalls, and device switches





Monitor performance and stability testing by tracking frame rate, loading times, memory usage, battery consumption, and app size across devices while identifying slowdowns during extended gameplay

Execute edge case and stress testing by checking game behaviour under weak or unstable networks, app minimisation, force closure, low storage or memory, overheating, account switching, multiple devices, and gameplay limits

Handle release and post-launch support by completing App Store and Google Play submission checklists, ensuring compliance with store requirements, and monitoring crash reports and store reviews after launch

Collaborate with the team by participating in sprint planning and stand-ups, raising testing risks early, working closely with developers to identify root causes of bugs, and sharing gameplay feedback beyond functional issues
