Role Description This is a full time remote role for a Game Developer at Nays.

The Game

Developer will design, build, and maintain gameplay features and systems that enhance the spectator esports experience. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing game mechanics, writing clean and efficient code, optimizing performance, and collaborating with designers, artists, and product teams to deliver engaging content. The role also involves debugging and troubleshooting issues, integrating UI and network features where needed, and contributing to technical documentation and code reviews.

The Game

Developer will participate in planning sessions, provide estimates,



and help ensure timely delivery of stable builds and updates.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) for building reliable and maintainable game systems.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Game Programming and Gameplay Programming to implement mechanics, interactions, and in-game logic.
- Candidates should possess skills in Game Design to collaborate on engaging spectator-focused features and player experiences.
- Experience with one or more modern game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot) and proficiency in relevant languages (e.g., C#, C++, or similar) is beneficial.
- Ability to debug, profile, and optimize code for performance and scalability in live or online environments is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and remote collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with esports ecosystems, multiplayer game concepts, or networked gameplay is a plus.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
