Role Description The Funding & Grants Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur. This role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and securing funding opportunities, including grants, impact investments, and strategic partnerships that support MagickWorld’s growth.

Daily tasks include researching potential funders, preparing compelling grant proposals, maintaining funding calendars, and managing application documentation and reporting requirements. The associate will collaborate with finance, content, and operations teams to align funding strategies with business goals and program needs, while tracking budgets and funding utilization.



The role also involves maintaining relationships with donors and investors, monitoring compliance with grant conditions, and providing regular updates and insights to leadership.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to research, evaluate, and prioritize funding and grant opportunities.
- Demonstrated experience in funding and grant processes, including proposal writing, applications, and donor/investor relations.
- Foundational understanding of finance and budgeting, with the ability to collaborate on financial projections and funding reports.
- Clear and qualified communication skills, including written communication for proposals and verbal communication for stakeholder interactions.
- Basic knowledge of investments or impact investing, with interest in family-oriented or community-focused ventures.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, development studies, or a related field; advanced certifications in fundraising or grant management are an advantage.
- Proficiency in productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation tools, project management software).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-evolving startup environment.
- Interest in family travel, lifestyle, or community-building initiatives, and alignment with MagickWorld’s mission.
