ABOUT THE ROLE The Fundraising Manager is a key role in helping the Centre for Wildlife Studies (CWS) to grow the scale and impact of our programs. The position engages with CWS staff to develop grant proposals, build CSR networks, and develop recent fundraising opportunities. The role requires constant interactions and collaboration with all teams at CWS.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Support: Assist the Chief Executive Officer and senior team with outreach and funding tasks.
2. Proposal Development: Write and refine proposals for CWS programs, coordinating with staff and management.
3. Database Management: Maintain accurate records of submissions, projects, and donor information with the accounts team.
4. Opportunity Identification: Find and engage new donors and funding opportunities.
5. Platform Management:
Oversee crowdfunding platforms like Give India and manage donor management systems such as Salesforce NPSP or Zoho.
6. Campaign Coordination: Plan and execute successful fundraising campaigns and events.
REQUIRED SKILLS
1. Adaptability: Excel in a fast-paced environment, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
2. Proposal Writing: Demonstrated success in crafting winning proposals, especially for wildlife and conservation projects.
3. Fundraising Experience: 2-3 years of experience in fundraising with a solid understanding of CSR networks and funding opportunities in India.
4. Technical Proficiency: Strong writing, research, and computer skills.
5. Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
