Key Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js
- AWS, and PostgreSQL
- Leverage AI tools (such as Cursor and Claude) to efficiently generate and review code
- Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and customers to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Translate business concepts from the recruitment industry into robust technical implementations
- Ensure all code meets high standards of quality, reliability, and security
- Implement and advocate for best practices in software development, including code reviews and documentation
- Contribute to product design with a focus on usability and user experience
- Actively participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Demonstrate accountability for project deliverables and timelines
- Continuously learn and adapt to current technologies, tools, and industry trends





Requirements

Must have

- Must have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science
- Engineering, or a related field
- Required: 2–3 years of professional experience in backend software development
- Essential: Proficiency in Node.js
- AWS, and PostgreSQL
- Minimum of 1 year using AI tools (such as Cursor or Claude) for code generation
- Solid understanding of business concepts and customer collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code

Good to have

- Familiarity with UX principles and usability best practices is preferred
- Experience in the recruitment or HR tech industry is a plus

Bonus

- Knowledge of Docker
- GraphQL, or TypeScript is an added advantage
- Open-source contributions or personal projects are a bonus
