The Context The Technology group of Azim Premji Foundation has embarked on several digital initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of various process areas touching different functional units of the Foundation including Field, University, Healthcare and Philanthropy. We have been deploying a number of mobile apps and web apps for our members and partners to use. Here are a few examples of the applications that have been launched recently.
Teacher Development Tracking Applicatio nThis is an application to help the field team to manage and track school teacher development. Our field members can record observations on a teacher’s teaching practices and student’s learning outcome using a mobile app. The application then assimilates the observations and provides insights on coverage and effects.
This can be used to further plan personalized development program. This is being used by 1000+ field members covering 70,000 primary school teachers

Vax
ITVaxIT is a unique mobile app that tracks vaccine status of over 65 million residents in about 90,000 villages in India. This app was used by 25,000+ community health workers across 22 states, 225 districts and 3300 PHC s.

FTA’s will get first-hand experience in designing, developing, and deploying software and will get access to some of the leading low-code/no-code software development platform like Salesforce and analytics platform like Tableau and Po wer BI.FTAs can progressively grow into the roles of Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, Project Lead and Program m anager.
