What we are looking for
- 4+ years’ experience working as a software developer.
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals; hands-on experience building responsive, performant, accessible SPAs.
- Production experience with Angular (16+) or React (18+), using modern patterns — standalone components + signals, or functional components + hooks.
- Solid HTML5 and modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid) with SCSS, CSS-in-JS, or CSS Modules.
- Comfortable with Node.js, a contemporary package manager (pnpm / npm / yarn), and monorepo tooling (Nx etc.).
- Experience integrating with — and ideally designing — RESTful APIs.
- State management with NgRx, Redux, or similar, and a clear view on when reactive state (RxJS / signals) fits better.
- Automated testing: unit / integration with Jest or Vitest, end-to-end with Playwright or Cypress.
- Comfortable with git-based feature-branch workflows and modern CI/CD (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Able to profile and debug production issues using browser dev tools (Performance, Memory, Network).
- Excellent written and verbal communication; effective partner to product, design, and back-end teams in a global setting.
Nice-to-have
- Grid-heavy data apps (ag-grid, TanStack Table) and design-system component libraries.
- Observability and product analytics — LaunchDarkly, Splunk, Datadog.
- Cloud experience on AWS (S3 + CloudFront, Lambda, DynamoDB, CDN deployments) or equivalent.
- AI-assisted development (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) with a pragmatic view on where it helps vs. hurts.
- Web-performance fundamentals — bundle size, code-splitting, virtualization, memoization, rendering cost.
