Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Freight Broker role based in the Mohali district.

The Freight

Broker will manage day-to-day freight operations, including sourcing carriers, negotiating rates, and arranging transportation for client shipments.

Responsibilities include handling customer inquiries, providing shipment updates, and resolving service issues in a timely manner. The role involves coordinating dispatch activities, tracking loads, and maintaining accurate records in the company systems.

Broker will also support account management by developing and maintaining strong relationships with shippers and carriers, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to overall service quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong Freight Brokerage and Brokerage skills, with the ability to source carriers, negotiate rates, and manage shipments effectively.
- Proficient in Customer Service and Account Management, demonstrating the ability to build and maintain qualified relationships with shippers and carriers.
- Solid understanding of transportation, logistics, and freight operations, including common modes, routes, and industry terminology.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Comfortable using computer systems and logistics software; proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) or similar tools.
- Prior experience in freight brokerage or logistics is preferred; relevant education in business, logistics, or a related field is an advantage.
