About the Role
Chaukhamba Travels is looking for Freelance Travel Consultants who can convert travel enquiries into successful bookings. Qualified leads will be provided by our team, and your role will be to understand the customer's requirements, recommend suitable travel packages, follow up with leads, and close bookings.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle travel enquiries and leads provided by Chaukhamba Travels.
- Understand customer requirements, budget, dates, and preferences.
- Suggest suitable domestic travel packages and itineraries.
- Communicate package details, pricing, inclusions, and travel information clearly.
- Regularly follow up with interested customers.
- Negotiate and convince customers to complete bookings.
- Convert assigned leads into successful sales.
- Maintain professional communication throughout the sales process.
- Coordinate with the internal team for booking confirmation and further processing.
Requirements
- Strong communication and convincing skills.
- Good knowledge or interest in travel and tourism.
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to close leads.
- Good follow-up and customer-handling skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a freelance setup.
- Basic knowledge of WhatsApp, calls, and online communication tools.
- Freshers with good communication and sales skills are welcome.
