Role Description This is a full time remote role for a Freelance PCB Designer at Artsays.in. The PCB Designer will translate electrical and electronic requirements into detailed board layouts, including schematic capture, component placement, and routing for both analog and RF circuits.

Day-to-day tasks include reviewing design specifications, collaborating with engineers to refine circuit designs, selecting appropriate components, and ensuring manufacturability, signal integrity, and compliance with relevant standards. The role also involves creating and maintaining design documentation, running simulations and design rule checks, and working with fabrication partners to resolve technical issues.



The designer will manage multiple projects, communicate progress clearly, and deliver designs within agreed timelines and quality expectations.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Circuit Design and Electronics for PCB-based solutions, including schematic creation and component selection.
- Proficiency in Analog circuit design, including filters, amplifiers, and power management circuits.
- Solid foundation in Electrical Engineering principles applicable to board-level design and system integration.
- Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) design, including impedance matching, layout for high-frequency signals, and EMI/EMC considerations.
- Hands-on experience with PCB design tools (such as Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, or similar) and familiarity with fabrication and assembly processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical datasheets, standards, and application notes, and to perform basic simulations and analysis.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field; prior freelance or industry PCB design experience is highly beneficial.
