Key Responsibilities

Fixed Asset Accounting

- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and ensure accuracy of asset records.

- Process capitalization of new capital expenditure (CapEx) projects.

- Create and manage asset master data, projects, and WBS elements in ERP systems.

- Perform periodic asset reconciliations and reporting.

- Support CapEx accounting and reporting activities.

- Ensure compliance with accounting policies related to fixed assets.

Payroll Accounting

- Manage payroll accounting and related financial transactions.

- Process employee reimbursements including Travel &
- Expense (T&E;) and other benefit payments.

- Coordinate with HR on payroll-related accounting activities.

- Ensure timely and accurate payroll postings and reconciliations.

- Handle payroll-related statutory accounting requirements.

Financial Reporting &

- Compliance

- Prepare monthly variance analysis comparing Budget, Forecast and Actuals.

- Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to payroll and fixed assets.

- Ensure timely completion of statutory, internal and corporate audits.

- Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory regulations.

- Prepare reports required for management review and decision-making.

Cross-functional Collaboration

- Coordinate with project teams for timely capitalization of assets.

- Partner with HR on payroll projects and employee compensation accounting.

- Support implementation of finance process improvements.

- Work with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and consultants.

Key Accountabilities

- Accurate Fixed Asset accounting and capitalization.

- Timely payroll accounting and employee reimbursement processing.

- Compliance with statutory and corporate accounting requirements.

- Monthly financial reporting and variance analysis.

- Support audit activities and financial controls.





- Budget and forecast support for payroll and CapEx.

Technical Skills

Required Skills &

- Competencies

- Good understanding of Accounts Payable processes and employee reimbursement accounting.

- Strong knowledge of Fixed Asset Accounting.

- Experience in payroll accounting and reporting.

- Financial reporting, reconciliation, and month-end closing.

- Knowledge of budgeting and variance analysis.

- ERP experience (SAP preferred).

- Valuable understanding of accounting principles and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

- Professional qualification (CA Inter/CMA/CPA) is an added advantage.

Experience

- Minimum 4 years of experience in Finance or Accounting.

- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred.
