Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Firefighter role based in Ahmedabad. The Firefighter will respond to fire alarms and emergency calls, perform fire suppression, rescue, and basic first aid, and assist in evacuating patients, staff, and visitors when necessary.

Daily tasks include inspecting and maintaining firefighting equipment, conducting safety checks within the facility, and participating in drills and training exercises. The role also involves supporting fire prevention initiatives, educating staff about emergency procedures,



and collaborating with local emergency services to ensure a safe environment.

Qualifications

- Strong emergency response skills, including fire suppression, rescue operations, and basic first aid/CPR.
- Knowledge of fire safety regulations, emergency evacuation procedures, and use of firefighting equipment.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, make quick decisions, and work effectively in high-risk situations.
- Positive physical fitness and stamina to handle demanding tasks such as lifting, climbing, and prolonged standing.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with medical staff and emergency services.
- Prior experience as a firefighter, emergency responder, or similar role is highly beneficial.
- Relevant certification or training in firefighting, emergency management, or safety preferred.
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as operational needs require.
