Role & responsibilities

- Provide patients and attendants with detailed estimates of treatment and hospitalization costs.

- Explain billing procedures, payment methods, insurance coverage, and package details.

- Counsel patients regarding financial obligations before admission, during hospitalization, and at discharge.

- Assist patients in understanding and completing financial documents and consent forms.

- Verify insurance eligibility and coverage details.

- Coordinate with insurance companies, TPAs, and corporate clients for approvals and authorizations.

- Educate patients regarding exclusions, co-payments, deductibles, and non-payable expenses.

- Monitor approval status and communicate updates to patients and internal stakeholders.
